Four Seasons Journey (4SJ)

is  a women's mystery school, a year long earth based spiritual experience creating and maintaining a deep connection with the Earth and the Divine Feminine. 4SJ is for all women and focuses on the shamanic perspective of cycles of the Earth, life, the moon, and menstruation, and prepares the students to be shamanic midwives for their community and beyond.

The course work covered is intended to add to the student's abilities as midwife, doula, birthkeeper, woman, the understanding and skills to work in the inner, shamanic realms with the women they care for, be that others or themselves. 4SJ aims to equip the student with information, learned experiences and practices to augment her own in the worthy mission of healing the wounded feminine, healing birth and healing the Earth.

BirthKeeper Intensives (BKI) 

For midwives, doulas, childbirth educators and all those working with the childbearing process who are interested in learning the practices of the Shamanic Midwife – What is Shamanic Midwifery? These two day gatherings aim to teach the participants various processes and practices to both develop personal consciousness and as an offering to women during their childbearing year. The Birthkeeper Intensives have evolved through a direct call from the birth world community.

Healing Birth Retreats

By arrangement for women seeking healing from previous birth experiences. Using Shamanic Midwifery processes, women will be guided toward their healing process.

The Deepenings

Commenced in 2012 and open to 4SJ graduates and students enabling the Shamanic Midwife to go deeper in her process.

Apprenticeship Arrangements - (AA) 

are open to 4SJ graduates. The aim of the AA programs is to prepare Shamanic Midwives to participate in the School of Shamanic Midwifery programs as facilitators. 

There are two Apprenticeship Arrangements on offer to SSM graduates:

Workshop Apprenticeship Arrangement (WAA) – for graduates who wish to become Pregnancy and Moonsong workshop facilitators and teach these programs on behalf of SSM.

Four Seasons Journey Apprenticeship Arrangement (4SJAA) – for graduates who wish to become facilitators of the 4SJ program on behalf of SSM.

Connecting with The Shamanic Dimensions of Pregnancy - NEW

Pregnancy is a portal into the sacred, spiritual and shamanic dimensions of womanhood. Using shamanic processes and ritual we will access information, insights, life lessons and healing. We will connect with Power Animals, let go of fears, up date our belief systems, access the power of our voice, connect with our baby inside and establish our Birth Temple in preparation for our birth.
